I'm still here.......
Well, I didn't drop off the planet. I've just been busy trying to hold myself together. I've been fighting depression as of late. I get depressed this time of year for some reason. Could be the cold, the holidays, the lonliness, who knows. Anywho, I would like to wish everyone a happy holiday season. I don't have much in the way of wisdom right now except I'm glad to be sober today. I thank GOD every day for one more day of sobriety.

My father-in-law suffers from seasonal depression. It is a clinical problem that you, too, may be struggling with. It is a chemical imbalance caused by changes in our circadian rhythms, the lack of natural light, and things like that. If you can, mention your symptoms to a professional counselor and see if they can help. I know it helped my father-in-law, just knowing that there was a physical reason why he felt the way he does every late fall and winter.
